News - Year 1

February 9, 2010: Ian said "Mama" for the first time today. He also stood up for the first time outisde of his playpen.

January 20, 2010: Ian stood up by himself today for the first time.

January 10, 2010: Ian is ten months old today. He also sat up by himself for the first time (from a crawling position).Two teeth have already arrived, and four more are on the way.

Christmas 2009: Ian is crawling everywhere.

October 13, 2009: Ian's second tooth. He's been trying to crawl and sit.

September 29, 2009: Ian's first tooth.

September 16, 2009: Ian has been eating baby food for almost a month now. His favourite is beef with vegetables. He also likes homemade applesauce.

August 1, 2009: Ian, Mum, and Dad went to visit some of Mum's relatives in Sobotka. Ian had a great time,and even got to sit in a tub of lukewarm water to fight off the heat. Lots of people were there, and Ian got to play on a blanket with Adam, who is three months older then Ian.

Wednesday, July 15: Vaccinations today. Cried just a little.

Tuesday, June 9: Grandma (Mam-mam) came to visit me from America

Tuesday, April 14: Today is my Grandma's birthday. She's coming to visit me in June. I can't wait!

Friday, April 10: Ian is really improving healthwise. He's putting on the pounds.

Saturday, April 4: Ian's weight is improving. He is starting to look much better

Thursday, April 2: Ian was at another doctor today. All of his abdomenal organs look fine, but there is a lot of gas in his belly. Poor guy. Another doctor gave us some weird advice on breastfeeding that contradicts others' advice. More formula today.

Wednesday, April 1: At the doctor's today. The doctor is concerned about Ian losing weight. She suggests adding formula. We gave Ian his first formula later that day. Huge bowel movement today, first since Saturday (4 days).

Tuesday, March 31: Daddy and Ian went for a long walk together today.

Monday, March 30: Ian has been having some problems with gas. He cries a lot from the pain.

Saturday, March 28: Mouth sill purple. Big bowel movement today.

Wednesday, March 25: Purple Day. Hrošan's mouth is purple from a disintfectant.

Monday, March 23: Shit day. All doubts about intestinal function were quashed today.

Sunday, March 22: Ian got to see Grandma and Aunt Deidre on Skype today.

Friday, March 20: Ian has established habits: drinking it up on Mommy's chest then.falling asleep on Daddy's chest.

Monday, March 16: Ian is released from hospital.

Wednesday, March 11: Problems send Ian to an incubator Intensive Care. He is surrounded by lightweights.

Tuesday, March 10: Ian is visited by his Dad and maternal grandparents.

Tuesday, March 10: Ian is born at 8:15 a.m .

Monday, May 25: Ian is very talkative. He is a real chatterbox. He went to the doctor last week and everything was OK. He's a healthy boy.
